We love beadboard but it comes in 8 foot high sheets and our ceilings are 9 foot, i suppose you could use it and add 1 foot of metal ceiling tiles on the top or bottom? We plan to do one bedroom with dormers in horizontal planks. I agree with you Nancy, I still look still look at that paneling in the home that I bought a few years ago.
